If you�re gay, the terrorists have already won
One of my students wrote the following in response to some articles I assigned:
In response to the articles on same sex marriage I still disagree with the idea of same sex marriages. If all the gays get married then what will America look like to other countries? A country full of recognised and accepted gays is what we would look like. Thats not very intimidating.
If I�m interpreting this correctly, she means gay marriage is a threat to national security. Somebody alert the neocons; this is the connection they've been looking for!
